Refunds and cancellation

Payments for the service are taken by Paddle. Paddle is an authorised reseller. You purchase this service from Paddle, and we make it available to you under these terms. Paddle bills you, and Paddle is the party that can return a payment to you.
Which Paddle company you contract with depends on where you buy from. Paddle’s own terms set that out.
Cancelling your plan
You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until it ends.
Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not return a payment already taken — for that, see when a payment can be refunded.
When your plan ends, your workspace becomes read-only: your ideas and drafts stay there and you can read them for as long as your account exists, and the service stops producing new work.
If a charge is taken after you have deleted your account, we will refund it in full.
When a payment can be refunded
Our payment provider’s terms are that all Transactions are non-refundable. Unless the law that applies to you gives you a right to one, payments are not refundable. Our payment provider may still decide to refund a payment, and a refund given once does not create a right to another.
Where the law does give you a right to withdraw, it applies to a one-off purchase and to the first payment of a subscription, not to the payments that follow it. It can also be lost once you have started using what you bought, where you agreed to have it available straight away.
Our payment provider publishes which windows it honours, by country, in its own refund policy.
Nothing on this page limits any right you have under the law that applies to you.
How to ask
Ask our payment provider: it took the payment and it is the party that can return it. Its refund policy page, linked above, says how.
