We decide what happens to the information described here, and we are the people to ask about it.

The company that sells to you
When you pay for this service, you pay Paddle. Paddle is an authorised reseller. You purchase this service from Paddle, and we make it available to you under these terms.
Paddle is a separate data controller. It decides for itself what it does with what you give it at checkout — your payment details, your billing address, and whatever it needs for tax. Those are its decisions and not ours, so the rights you have over that information you exercise against Paddle, and its own privacy notice is where they are described.
What comes back to us is small and we do not choose it. That a payment succeeded or failed, which plan you are on, and when it ends. We never receive your card number.
Which Paddle company you deal with depends on where you are, and there are three of them. Paddle’s terms say which one applies to you.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep you signed in. They are set by Clerk, our authentication provider, on our behalf.
One of them records only whether you are signed in, and it is readable across seresway.com and its subdomains, including our public demo site. The cookie that carries your actual session is limited to this app.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Your own words go to AI providers
This is the part of this notice you are least able to guess, so it is written plainly.
When you describe a product idea, the text you wrote is sent word for word to the AI providers named above. It is not summarised, anonymised or stripped first. The same is true of what you type into the chat, and of the notes and constraints you attach to a product.
That is how the service works: the agents are asked to honour your exact wording, including your prohibitions, so your wording has to reach them.
What we do not do: we do not set any flag in our own code asking a provider to keep your text or to train on it.
What we cannot promise: each provider has its own terms and its own account settings, which govern what happens to your text once it arrives. Read their notices if this matters to you, and treat anything you would not want a third party to hold as something to keep out of the box.
One of those settings has already mattered, and this is what happened. Until 8 September 2026 our OpenAI account was enrolled in a programme under which the inputs and outputs we sent could be used to improve and train their models. We switched that off on 8 September 2026.
We cannot tell you when it was switched on, because our account did not keep a record of that change — so the earlier state is not unknown to us, it is unrecorded. What our own records show, read on 9 September 2026 and again on 14 September 2026: the only text that passed while that setting was on came from accounts we operate ourselves, and no text of any kind passed before 15 August 2026, the first day anything was sent to an AI provider.
Answers we get back are cached for a short time so the same question does not have to be asked twice. The cache holds the answer, not your identity.
How long we keep things
If you cancel, we do not delete anything. Your workspace becomes read-only: your ideas and drafts stay there and you can read them for as long as your account exists, and the service stops producing new work.
If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. That covers your workspace and everything in it, including the chat.
If you delete your account, we also keep a code made from your email address that shows it has already started a free trial, for 24 months after the end of the month you started it, so the same address cannot start another.
We are stating both of those plainly because they may not both suit you. Keeping your work indefinitely is useful if you come back and unwelcome if you wanted to be forgotten — and deleting your account is the way to be forgotten, apart from that code.
Your rights
What is true whichever law applies, and what we will do today: you can ask us to delete your data, and we will answer you. You can also ask what we hold about you.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights — to correct information, to object to some uses of it, or to receive a copy. We are not going to list rights here until we can say accurately which ones you have.
Where your information goes
We are established in Ningbo, in the People’s Republic of China, and the AI providers we use are in the United States. So the text you write leaves the country it was written in, and it leaves China, in order for the service to do anything at all.
The same is true of the companies that run our servers and this website, which are listed above.
Our own servers are in the United States as well — the database that holds your workspace, and the services that run the agents. So your information leaves China whether it is going to an AI provider or simply being stored.
We name the country and not the city or the data centre. A provider can move a service between its own regions without telling us, and we would rather tell you something we can stand behind than something more precise that we cannot police.
If the law where you live gives you protections around information leaving your country, those protections are not affected by anything in this notice.
How to reach us
Use the route below for anything about your data, including asking what we hold about you or asking us to delete it. Say what you want and we will answer you.
It is the only route we publish, and that is on purpose. A company that lists four addresses has three nobody is watching, and a message sent to one of those has not been ignored — it has been lost, which is worse, because you would have no way of knowing.
Write to us here:support@seresway.comIf you have an account, we are handling your data now, so this was owed to you before this page existed. There is no event we are waiting on before we answer you.
